strange

This is my new obsession and muse. She is sooo fucking cute. Her name is Bonnie Strange and she's a model/photographer. She's got an awesome blog called Strange Ambition http://www.strangeambition.com/ It's definitely worth a quick squiz. She's my new go-to-inspiration bitch when my head is full of nothingness. She's also got me so obsessed with the MCM nude colored backpack. I need it like I need air! Big love - ash x

nikey woo

Helllooo! A little outfit post for you. I was feeling half 80s and half 90s this morning. Couldn't quite decide so I just thought I'd bust out both of the looks. Can't believe I'm already rocking midriff tops and the weather is still shite! I'm desperate to dress summery. Come on summer, hurry the fuck up! Big love - ash x

Sorry again for the total lack of love here on the blog. I don't even have a good excuse. I've been busy this week though, prepping for a shoot this weekend. It's a mens shoot which I'm pumped about as who doesn't love dressing boys! I'll do a post with my reference images soon.

I was a bit eager for the sun yesterday and busted out my Sonia Rykiel for H&M wedges without socks. Shock, I know! I still love them after such a long time. I then had to get out my purple jacket and massive leopard print scarf to keep the top of me warm at work. Lot's of coffee from Kaffeine on Great Titchfield Street (which by the by is fucking good coffee) is the go to keep my tootsies warm. Big love - ash x

spring???

I needed to add a bit of light in my life seeing as this heinous weather looks like it's never going to end so I dyed my hair 'carnation pink' on the weekend (with might I add, massive amounts of help from the boy!). It's a bit of dodgy job and the boy reckons I look like a kid has got a hold of my head with marker pen seeing as the majority of the dye is still on half of my face. My friend introduced me to Paks in Dalston the other day http://www.pakcosmetics.com/search/la%20riche. I can't believe I hadn't been there sooner. There are so many little pots of La Riche in every colour under the sun.

I also couldn't help myself making a little floral headpiece out of some fake flowers that I found in a shitty pound shop in Whitechapel. If the hair and the flowers don't make me feel spring like, I really don't know what will...actual spring maybe. Big love - ash x

paula paula

I've blogged about her in the past http://thelovethatwefatallymade.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/my-amazingly-talented-friend-paula-kyle.html and too right because she is the shit, and I needed to do so again this morning because this amazing little head piece arrived in the post yesterday. It is part of her Bloom collection which she describes as 'a literal collection based on floral motifs and discovering colour'. She has the shapes laser cut and then heats the pieces in the oven and bends them into her creations. The fluro pink colour is sooo rad. Check out her stuff online here www.paulawalden.com I also had these total childhood kickback Reebok sneakers arrive in the post yesterday which I'm so happy with. A little Ebay find which I couldn't resist. Big love - ash x
