I studied on the styling and fashion design course at Middlesex University in London for a little while and sat through an amazing talk by the incredible Judy Blame (jewellery maker/accessories designer/stylist/original 80s party it boy) in my first semester. He spoke about how important it is to keep a diary of images or trinkets that inspire you and your work. He said that he had a whole library full of scrap books dating back years and years. I really took this on board and am now a hoarder of images that inspire me and my computer is bursting at the seams with my little collections. Beautiful and interesting images are my fuel and give me the energy to create the things I need to create. Hope you like some of my fuel. Big love - ash x
