So I got my hair cut on Friday. Was actually quite ashamed to walk in to the hairdressers with the mop on my head. So happy with how it turned out. If you haven't already heard of Kennaland, you should. Kenna is an amazing hair stylist who works on heaps of amazing shoots. I met him a few years back on a David Koma shoot while I was assisting the fabulous Kim Howells. We were re-united the other day on a Vogue shoot and he said that I basically need to sort my shit hair out and booked me in for an appointment in his studio. The images above are of the studio-It's such a rad space. Kenna has been collecting all the trinkets and furniture over the years and I am so in love with the mirror wall and old vintage drawers. I always get so bored at the hairdressers so I was stoked when I walked in to the studio and discovered heaps of shit to look at while I had my head worked at for 4 hours. i went down to the woods today

I styled this story last winter with the totally babelicious Sophie Willing. It was sooooo God damn cold that day and I felt so bad for putting the model in such little clothing. Was pretty pumped with the results though. We were going to submit the piece but didn't get round to it. I styled and shot a story over a year ago with my friends Tia and Kurt on the Gold Coast back home in Australia. I just wanted to have a bit of fun and brought nearly my whole wardrobe for us to rummage through. Looking back on these images makes me super happy. We used to have so much fun just being idiots and messing around. I'd like to do more shoots like this; just really relaxed stories that show peoples personalities more than anything. The amazing wedding dress body suit was made by a chick in the year below me at Uni while we were studying fashion. She pulled apart a wedding dress and created this bangin' bodysuit. I really wish I had bought it off her because every time I look at these pictures I want it back in my life. Just spotted this gem of a shoot on Fashion Gone Rogue. I have a shoot being released on there soon so have been checking the site daily. I'm a big fan of Chloe Sevigny and it kinda makes me sad to think that she feels her fashion choices have let her career down. She mentions in this Craig Mcdean for Interview story that she feels her fashion choices have affected her film career-WTF. The chicks style is so bad ass and I think has enabled her to have such a great list of indi films under her belt - who doesn't love Boys Don't Cry and Partymonster!? I'm still on the look out for her Opening Ceremony mary janes-I desperately trawl Ebay for them hoping they'll one day land in my lap x
